An Azure App Service starter for the next stage of your application.
A promising application creates a new set of responsibilities once people begin to depend on it. Someone has to manage access, review changes, deploy updates, and recover when a release goes wrong. Lovable Deployment provides a practical starting point for putting those responsibilities into a repeatable delivery process.
The repository supplies an overlay for an existing Lovable application connected to GitHub. It includes Azure infrastructure definitions, GitHub Actions workflow templates, runtime components, and adoption and operations guides. The release approach builds a package, deploys it to a staging slot, and promotes it to production after approval, with a separate rollback workflow.
The starter supports React/Vite single-page applications and the documented TanStack Start configuration. Its baseline incorporates Microsoft Entra sign-in, Key Vault references, and deployment identities. Your application and tenant still need their own configuration and verification; the starter gives that work a defined place to begin. Database migration and changes to an existing backend remain separate decisions.
What the starter provides
The materials bring infrastructure, release workflows, runtime configuration, and operational guidance together in one repository. GitHub Actions handles the release sequence, while Azure App Service provides the hosting environment. A reviewed change can move through staging and approval using the same compiled package, making it easier to connect a running release to the source that produced it.
The project is intended for developers and platform teams adopting an existing Lovable application. Your application stays in its own GitHub repository; the supplied deployment components are integrated into it. This also makes the project useful as a worked example of how rapid application development can fit into an established engineering process.
I see the value in making that transition repeatable. A team should be able to keep the speed of building and revising an application while giving its operators a clear way to control releases, inspect failures, and recover. The repository supplies a starting point for those responsibilities, with the application-specific decisions left visible in the adoption guide.
Download Lovable Deployment
Download and extract the source ZIP, then start with the README and adoption guide. The azure/ folder and workflow-templates/ folder contain the components to integrate into your application’s repository.
Read the adoption guide · Operations guide
You can also choose Code → Download ZIP on the repository page. Start with the adoption guide before copying files: it explains the application changes, Azure access, and GitHub setup needed for your environment.
Use, adapt, and contribute
The starter does not move your database or replace your existing backend. Its backend guide explains those separate choices, and the verification record distinguishes component checks from the sign-in, application, networking, and rollback checks that require your own environment.

If you find a problem or have an improvement, open an issue with a reproducible example that excludes credentials and private application data. The most useful contributions make the path from an interesting prototype to a maintainable application easier for another team to follow.
